Employee cost calculator for your website
Copy the two lines below into your page and your visitors get this calculator, working, on your site. It is free, there is no account, and no script runs on your page.
The code
<iframe src="https://plainnumber.com/embed/salary/employer-cost" title="Employee cost calculator" width="100%" height="820" loading="lazy" style="border:0;max-width:100%"></iframe>
<p>Calculator by <a href="https://plainnumber.com/salary/employer-cost" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Plain Number</a></p>What your visitors can work out
What a hire costs beyond the wage: the federal payroll taxes an employer pays, at rates you can check against the IRS and change, plus the state tax, benefits and other costs you add.
It is the same calculator as the one on this site, with the same limits printed under the answer. It gives an estimate, not advice, and it is not a quote or an offer from you or from us.
Where it is useful
Job boards and recruiters, careers pages, payroll and HR guides, and anyone who writes about pay.
How to add it
Paste the code into your page as HTML. The steps differ by site builder:
What it does on your page
- No script. The code is a frame and a credit link. A frame cannot read your page or what your visitors do on it.
- No advertising. No ads, sponsor or affiliate link appears in it.
- Nothing typed is collected. The sums run in the visitor’s browser. Our host does log the request for the frame; the privacy page says what that is.
- A height you set. The code asks for 820 pixels. Change the number to suit your page; the calculator scrolls inside its box if it needs more.
- The credit stays. The second line links back to us. Keeping it visible is the one condition. The terms in full.
