Add a calculator to a Wix site
The code is two lines of HTML. Where it goes: an Embed HTML element. The calculator is free, with no account, no script and no ads.
The steps
- In the Wix Editor, click Add Elements on the left.
- Click Embed Code.
- Click Popular Embeds, then Embed HTML.
- Click the new element on the page, then Enter Code.
- Paste the code and click Apply.
- Drag the element to the size you want, then publish.
These steps are as Wix: Embedding a site or a widget gave them on . We read them; we have not tested them on every plan. If a menu has moved since, that page is the authority.
What stops it working
Wix places pasted HTML inside a frame of its own, so the element's size on the page is what limits the calculator, not only the height in the code. The Studio and Harmony editors keep the same element under different menus; the help page covers each.
- Nothing appears. The plan or the editor has removed the frame. That is the first thing to check, above.
- It is cut off. The code asks for 820 pixels of height. Raise the number, or accept that the calculator scrolls inside its box.
- The credit is missing. The second line of the code is the credit link. Paste both lines.
